Use the configuration ini import feature of the mgsconfig tool. For example, let us say we wish to disable network sense in an adopted inventory agent. We could:

1. Create the following content in a temporary file on the Unix file
system (for example, "/var/tmp/tempconfig.ini"):
[ManageSoft\Launcher\CurrentVersion]
NetworkSense=False
[ManageSoft\NetSelector\CurrentVersion]
SelectorAlgorithm=MgsSubnetMatch(,false)

2. Import the configuration change by running the following command on
the Unix machine (substitute your temporary file name):
/opt/managesoft/bin/mgsconfig -i /var/tmp/tempconfig.ini

3. Remove the temporary file.

Inspecting the /var/opt/managesoft/etc/config.ini should show that the settings in your temporary ini file have been applied to the config.ini.
