This article will discuss how to change the timestamp server when including a digital signature with a release

Synopsis

When a project is specified to include a digital signature for a release, InstallShield will automatically use VeriSign's server as the default Timestamp Server : http://timestamp.verisign.com/scripts/timstamp.dll

Discussion

This Timestamp Server can be changed by directly editing the settings.xml located in the directory: 
\InstallShield\2015\Support\0409\Settings.xml

The value of the TimeStamp server can be located in the example in the following:
<DigitalSignature Timestamp="http://timestamp.verisign.com/scripts/timstamp.dll"/>

In addition the value of "DigitalSignature Timestamp" can be left empty to not include any timestamp with the build.
