Summary

When a custom skin is applied to an InstallScript MSI, the status text of the progress dialog overlaps.

Symptoms

When a custom skin is applied to an InstallScript MSI, the status text of the progress dialog overlaps.
A majority of the time, the issue occurs during the uninstall.

Cause

This is a bug introduced into the product.


Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create a sample InstallScript MSI
  2. Apply a custom skin in the dialog view
  3. Build and install sample project
  4. Uninstall install

Resolution

A work order IOJ-1621607 was submitted to Engineering on the issue.

Workaround

In the InstallScript view, navigate to Miscellaneous > OnRMFilesInUse
Add Disable(STATUSEX) and Enable(STATUSEX) around the SdFilesInUse call.
This will refresh the status text so the overlap does not occur.
