This article explains whether a single predefined report exists for listing all license keys in Flexera One IT Asset Management or FlexNet Manager Suite. It also describes limitations, supported license types, and provides an option to create a custom report.
Unfortunately, there isn't currently a way to list every license key entered into the system in a single report. Only license keys that are stored against a license, or that have already been assigned to a device/user, can be included in a custom report using Report Builder.
- Open Reports > Create a report to access the Report Builder.
- Select License as the base object, and add relevant license properties such as Name, Edition, and Publisher.
- From the license properties list, add License key as a column. You can include additional fields as needed.
- Preview the report, apply filters (for example, by specific license or publisher), and save it.
License keys section availability:
- The License Keys section on the Identification tab appears only for supported license types. It is not available for:
- CAL Legacy
- Concurrent User
- Core Points
- Evaluation
- Microsoft Device CAL
- Microsoft Server Processor
- Microsoft User CAL
- SAP Named User
- SAP Package
- SaaS User
- Tiered Device
- Any Oracle license type (such as Oracle Processor, Oracle Named User Plus)
- Important details:
- Keys appear only if assigned using a configured key rule (single-install, multi-install per application, per purchase, or per license) and supported by the license type.
- Keys are not collected through software inventory. Unassigned keys (not linked to installations, users, or licenses) will not appear in any report.
- An enhancement request exists to allow listing all keys (including unassigned) in a future release.
This behavior is consistent in both Flexera One IT Asset Management and FlexNet Manager Suite
