The FlexNet Publisher utility lmadmin cannot import a license file from 'Program Files (x86)...' location with FlexNet Publisher 11.10

Cause

Problem introduced as part of the XSS security check - the parentheses characters are seen as 'not allowed'

Resolution

The issue has been resolved with the release of FlexNet Publisher 11.10.1. Starting with this release, lmadmin accepts the parentheses characters only in those fields that expect path values.

Workaround

Use a location where the path does not include the parentheses characters or upgrade to 11.10.1
