Symptoms

Report log rotation schedule and [Rotate Report Log Now] button does not work if Agent is installed on NFS mounted directory.

Environment is

Agent server:
OS: RHEL 5.8
Product: Agent 5.2.1
/etc/fstab entry: zaku6:/exports /mnt/nfs nfs rw,soft
Agent installation path: /mnt/nfs/agent/zaku
directory owner, group and permission on the installtion directory: flexnet:flexadmin 775

Agent installed and executed user: flexnet
Vendor daemon executed user: flexnet

NFS Server:
RHEL 5.8
/etc/exports entry: /exports 192.168.10.0/255.255.255.0(rw,sync,no_root_squash)


Cause

This is a bug that requires the <agent installed directory>/data/rlTemp directory to be linked to the local drive


Resolution

The <agent installed directory>/data/rlTemp directory needs to be linked to the local drive
