Does FNMS have the ability to restrict licence by the Inventiory Device Type?

Question

Does FlexNet Manager Suite have the ability to restrict licence by the Inventiory Device Type?
If it is possible, Microsoft Datacentre edition licences can be set to restrict to the Inventory Device Type 'VM Host'.

Answer

FlexNet Manager Suite only supports to scope licences by either Corporate Structure, Cost Centers or Locations.

An enhancement to restrict licenses by Category group is being tracked under an enhancement request #IOJ-1769732 (FNMS-34617).
There is currently no commitment to implementing this enhancement in a future release.
