Set up SSH keys for multiple Linux servers in RN150

This article explains how to configure SSH key-based authentication for discovering multiple Linux servers using RN150.

You can generate a single SSH key pair on the RN150 system and reuse it across multiple Linux servers, simplifying setup and ongoing management.

Instructions

Run the following command on the RN150 system:

ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 2048

This creates:

Copy the public key to each target Linux server:

ssh-copy-id user@target-server

Provide the private key in the RN150 interface for authentication.

Test SSH access to confirm successful authentication:

ssh user@target-server

Outcome

RN150 can now securely connect to multiple Linux servers using a single SSH key pair without requiring passwords.
