Symptoms

?Admin console? -> ?Entile Customers? landing page failed to display.
Following error message is displayed at ?Entitle Customers? page.
An unknown error has occurred. See the FLEXnet application log for details. (Error: org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not execute query using iterate).
In debug log, following messages captured.

Caused by: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException:

The incoming tabular data stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC) protocol stream is incorrect.

Too many parameters were provided in this RPC request. The maximum is 2100.

Cause

Insert more than 2100 line items into one simple entitlement could cause this problem.

Resolution

We will not fix this problem, please find the reason below.
This is not in best practice. In the case that you need to insert a large number of line items into one entitlement, we recommend to use 'bulk entitlement' instead of 'simple entitlement'.
An entitlement describes the license rights available for a customer to fulfill. There are two types of entitlements, to support two different types of selling models:
? For direct sales, you create simple entitlements. Each simple entitlement entitles one customer to the use of your product.
? For sales through a channel partner, you would create bulk entitlements. A bulk entitlement represents a large
number of individual entitlements for a single product, each of which is expected to be resold to a different customer.

Workaround

change the following setting from -1 to 10.
'Administer operations' -> 'System Configuration' -> 'FLEXnet Operations' -> 'Line Items Page Size Per
Entitlement'
