When trying to create a user why do I receive the following error: ERROR: Unable to instantiate the validator class for UserId validation ?

Answer

This can caused by a Validator pointing to an incorrect class file under: Administer Operations >> System Configuration >> Validators.

To fix this please make sure that the Validator is pointing to the correct class file under: Administer Operations >> System Configuration >> Validators . If the class names include '.macrovision' then these will need to be removed and it should resolve the issue.
