Unable to Load the Driver Error When Connecting to Database

Summary

Resolution for error "Unable to load the driver" when using the Choose Database Connection panel.

When using the Choose Database Connection panel to connect to a database, the following error message displays:

Connection Status
The connection to the specified database failed.
Unable to load the driver.

This issue error can occur when a Run SQL Script action has not been included under the Database host section under Sequence > Install.

A Run SQL Script action must be included in the Install sequence in order for the driver to be packaged with your build.
