This article documents enhancement SCA-4673 which aims to add features to control security aspects such as session timeouts in FlexNet Code Insight

Symptoms

Is it possible to control the session timeout time set in FlexNet Code Insight 2018 R2?

Resolution

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to configure the session timeout in FlexNet Code Insight 2018 R2. Our Engineers are aware of this issue and are currently working on a new 'Security' tab in the 'Administration' menu which will allow users to control the following items:

Maximum Unsuccessful Login Attempts
Password Expiration in Days
Session Timeout in Minutes

These changes are being made under reference SCA-4673 and are currently scheduled to be added to the upcoming 2018 R3 release however this is still subject to change.
