What causes the following error during data transformation in FlexNet Operations Reports - Caused by: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_E_LM". The conflict occurred in database "flexnetreporting", table "dbo.LICENSE_MODEL_DIMENSION", column 'ID'. ?

Answer

The error is caused by line items that are linked to license models that are in draft state or missing. After deleting these models in the FlexNet Operations web interface the data transformation was successful.
