This function is used to for date checking and tampering. The function is set to 'False' by default and needs to be set by the customer for it to be enabled. It has been suggested by some customers that this should be set as 'True' by default and therefore be enabled 'out-of the-box'.

Discussion

This is switched off by default mainly for performance reasons. Also, changing this setting now, would cause issues for much of our customer base who do not have this enabled.

Additional Information

Issues IOA-000033631 and IOA-000033679 have been raised about this with the engineering team resulting in the above information.
