Incident: Usage Intelligence Raw Data Exports Failure

We are currently experiencing an issue with our cloud service provider that is preventing the listing and download of raw data exports on both the Usage Intelligence dashboard and reporting APIs. We will provide an update as more information becomes available. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Legacy Usage Intelligence v2.0 Site Will Be Discontinued on May 31, 2024

Usage Intelligence v3.0 is available at https://analytics.revenera.com, as described in Usage Intelligence Portal v3 is Officially Live!. Since v3.0 was released, the Usage Intelligence v2.0 legacy site, analytics.revulytics.com, has been available in view-only mode. 

On May 31, 2024, the Usage Intelligence v2.0 legacy site will be discontinued and no longer accessible.  

• Data has been replicated: All data from the legacy site has been replicated and migrated and is now accessible on the new Usage Intelligence v3.0 site, as described in Usage Intelligence Portal Data Migration. Data migration was completed on September 1, 2023.
• API support: The legacy Usage Intelligence API, Usage Intelligence Reporting API v2.1.0, will be supported until the end of 2024. Going forward, you should be using Usage Intelligence Reporting API v3.0.0.

Usage Intelligence Portal v3 is Officially Live!

We are excited to announce Usage Intelligence v3 is officially live and migration is complete. You can access the new Usage Intelligence portal here: https://analytics.revenera.com/public/login

Usage Intelligence v3 provides a more fluid, app-like experience along with performance and security benefits. Users can also take advantage of easier to maintain REST APIs. 

NOTE: Usage Intelligence v2 is now view-only and users should utilize Usage Intelligence v3 going forward.

Important: Usage Intelligence Portal Data Migration

Usage Intelligence Portal v3 is Officially Live! and the migration was completed as planned on September 1, 2023.

As part of the transition (described in Transition from Usage Intelligence v2 and v3) to the new Usage Intelligence portal (described in the Usage Intelligence - Front End Change Log), we will be migrating the latest data from Usage Intelligence v2 to Usage Intelligence v3. The migration events will occur on two separate dates beginning on August 1, 2023. 

NOTE: The data migration process will require downtime up to one hour. During this time, the Usage Intelligence portal v3 will be inaccessible and users may observe service disruption.

Below is the planned data migration process and timeline: 

August 1, 2023: Latest data from Usage Intelligence v2 will be migrated to Usage Intelligence v3

• All products visible in Usage Intelligence v2 as of July 31st will be available in Usage Intelligence v3 post-migration, including newly created products and trials
• Any new products created in Usage Intelligence v2 on or after August 1st will not be available in Usage Intelligence v3 until the next data migration

September 1, 2023: Latest data in Usage Intelligence v2 created on or after August 1st will be migrated to Usage Intelligence v3

• Usage Intelligence v3 will officially be live and Usage Intelligence v2 will be view-only
• Users and Permissions section will be active on v2 after the migration, however any changes made post-migration may not be applied.
  • Any users there post v2 being made view-only can be deleted and permissions edited.
  • If users are required for existing products, they should be invited prior to the migration to ensure product access.
  • After the migration invites can be extended via the v3 dashboard and it will be platform-specific and such users may not have access to v2 data.
• All products visible in Usage Intelligence v2 as of August 31st will be available in Usage Intelligence v3, including newly created products and trials.
• Any new products created on Usage Intelligence v3 on or before August 31st should be treated as test data, and users will lose access to this data starting September 1st.
• Starting September 1st, all operations such as creating new product, activating trials, and other data changes or edits should only be made on Usage Intelligence v3.
• Any new product created on Usage Intelligence v3 will not be reflected in Usage Intelligence v2; however, existing products on Usage Intelligence v2 will remain accessible in view-only mode.

NOTE: We strongly recommend users wait to create new products in Usage Intelligence v3 until Revenera sends a notification confirming the data migration is complete. This helps to avoid ambiguity around which version of the data resides.

We recommend users to share this information with their internal teams and subscribe to the Revenera Status Dashboard notification for the latest migration status information.
