We are happy to announce the release of InstallAnywhere 2026 R1, now available on the Product and License Center. This release includes the following product enhancements:

• Support for Animated GIFs as Background Images, Splash Screens, and Billboards
• Enhanced Error Handling for Execute Script/Batch File Action
• New Custom Code API Methods to Manage IAChoiceGroup Components
• New Command-Line Option to Control JVM Secure Folder Verification
• Support for “I Do Not Accept” Option in the License Agreement Panel
• Ability to Enforce Path Type Validation in the Get User Input Panel
• New Exit Code for Unsecure JVM Location Error
• Option to Disable All Users Icon Creation for Non-Admin Users
• Enhanced Error Handling for ‘noexec’ Temporary Directories
