FAQ: Can Custom fields have the same Name as one of the Standard fields in Snow License Manager?

Title

Custom fields are used for information or data that needs to be managed but do not have a pre-defined entry in Snow License Manager.

When you create a custom field, do not give it the same name as one of the standard fields which already exist in Snow License Manager. This can cause conflicts, for example, when importing data or cause errors while accessing SLM GUI.

To create a Custom field:

Log into Snow License Manager
Navigate to Home > Administration > Custom Fields > Add custom field.
