Change to Snow Atlas file storage paths

Title

As of September 2025, Flexera has rolled out an update to Snow Atlas tenants that improves how file storage paths are handled. Previously, files were stored directly in an Azure Blob path, which several secure environments flagged as unsuitable.

Based on that feedback, Flexera has introduced a new storage path configuration that supports more restrictive access controls. This makes it better suited for secure environments.

Thank you to everyone who shared concerns. Flexera remains committed to making Snow Atlas more adaptable and secure for all users.

Instructions

To ensure seamless access to file downloads within Snow Atlas, make sure the following storage endpoints are added to your organization’s firewall or security allow list:

storage.australiasoutheast.snowsoftware.io

storage.eastus2.snowsoftware.io

storage.uksouth.snowsoftware.io

storage.westeurope.snowsoftware.io

These paths are essential for reaching the updated file storage locations. If they are not permitted through your network security settings, users may experience issues such as being unable to download attached files.
