Snow Atlas differs in many ways from on-premises Snow License Manager installations, including how application status is visually represented. This article explains how to recognize uninstalled and whitelisted applications in the Snow Atlas UI.
In Snow Atlas, application rows are color-coded to indicate their status:
- Uninstalled applications
Applications that have been removed but still show usage data are marked with an orange background.
A UI remark (meaning “Uninstalled”) will appear in the Details pane to the right.
Example: Microsoft Edge 135 appears with an orange background, indicating it has been uninstalled but retains historical usage.
- Whitelisted applications
Applications that are approved for use based on your organization’s allowlist rules are shown with a white background and an "AL" remark in the details pane.
Example: Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 shows a white background and an "AL" indicator, meaning it is whitelisted.
- Installed applications (Default)
Applications currently installed with no specific remarks appear with a light gray background. This indicates a normal, recognized installation.
