In some cases, User Console reports may take an unusually long time to load. When this occurs, you might see a timeout error in the Ux.log file, such as:
INFO Caching report failed: [/BDNAReports/Software/Unmatched_Files.xanalyzer] [timeout]
This can happen when the report caching process exceeds the allowed time limit. If report caching is not critical for your use case, you can disable it by modifying the configuration file.
To disable the caching report process:
- Stop the User Console (UC) service.
- Navigate to the configuration file:
User Console/Conf/NBI.Configuration.config
- Open the
NBI.Configuration.configfile in a text editor. - Locate the following line:
<CacheReportsActive>true</CacheReportsActive>
- Change the value from true to false:
<CacheReportsActive>false</CacheReportsActive>
- Save the file.
- Restart the User Console service.
