When uploading contextual data into IT Visibility (ITV), you might encounter the following error message:

"csv header is missing some schema field(s): [Name]”
This error indicates that the CSV file's header row is missing the required "Name" field, or that the file's encoding is causing the header to be misinterpreted.
- Verify the CSV header:
- Open your CSV file using a text editor, such as Notepad++.
- Ensure that the first row (header) includes the "Name" field exactly as expected.
- Check and adjust file encoding:
- In Notepad++, navigate to the Encoding menu.
- Confirm that the file is encoded in ANSI or a format beyond UTF-8/UTF-8 with BOM, such as UTF-16.
- If it's not, select one of these options to convert the file.
- Save and re-upload the file:
- After ensuring the correct header and encoding, save the file.
- Attempt to upload the CSV file again through the Contextual Data upload feature in ITV.
