Review the error in the logs
Check the pod logs for the message java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space. This confirms that the pod crashed because it exceeded the available Java heap memory.

Increase the Java heap size
Use the JAVA_OPTS environment variable to increase the minimum and maximum heap space available to the application.
You can set JAVA_OPTS through podEnvVariables in the Helm chart:

JAVA_OPTS="-Xms256m -Xmx1g"

Adjust values based on workload needs
Set heap values that match your application’s memory requirements. Pods with higher workloads may need larger -Xmx values to run reliably.
