1. Check your Ocean Controller version
   Make sure you're running the latest version of the controller. When you upgrade the controller, it can take about four days before rightsizing metrics start to appear.
   
   

2. Review EKS security groups (EKS only)
   If you use Amazon EKS, confirm that your cluster uses two security groups:

   • A worker node group security group with an inbound rule that allows communication with the control plane security group on port 443.

   • The cluster’s control plane security group.

   Refer to the Amazon guidance.
   
   

3. Check common metrics server issues
   Review common configuration or permission issues that may block metrics from being collected.

Once you confirm the controller version, validate EKS security groups (if applicable), and check for common metrics server issues, rightsizing data should begin appearing after the expected collection window.
