When running a manual or scheduled aggregation in Snow Integration Manager (SIM), you may receive the following error:
The Snow Integration Manager logs also show the below error:
Inventory Path does not contain a valid directory.
Announcement Path does not contain a valid directory.
This occurs if the inventory or announcement directories are missing or incorrectly configured in Snow Integration Manager. If the folders are not set correctly, scheduled aggregations will log errors in Snow Integration Manager, and manual aggregations will display a pop-up error that must be acknowledged before proceeding.
Verify that the correct folder paths are set in Snow Integration Manager:
- Open Snow Integration Manager.
- Go to the Inventory file handling tab.
- Confirm the following directories are correctly specified:
- Inventory incoming folder
C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow Inventory\Server\Incoming\data\processing - Announcement incoming folder
C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow Inventory\Server\Incoming\announcements\processing - If the paths are incorrect or missing, update them and save your changes.
