We have seen that a customers platform is reporting that their SRS key has expired at the end of December but their contract is valid for for longer. This is also affecting customers on a perpetual license.
The customer was trying to do an offline SRS update but sees a message that the license is expired
Software Recognition Service (SRS)
The error message seen in logs (usually located at C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Logs\UpdateService) can be similar to the below:
SnowSoftware.Update.Foundation.Consumer.Exception.FoundationApiException: The license 'XXXXXX' for product 'SnowSoftwareRecognitionService' failed to validate with message 'The provided license has expired at timestamp '2023-12-31T00:00:00.0000000'. Please provide an alternative license.'.
