• Check to make sure the that the following services have not stopped on the Snow server:
  • Snow Software Licensing
  • Snow Software Licencing Service
• These services can be checked by opening the start menu and typing in the search box 'services.msc'
• Review the web.config located C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow License Manager\Web; it should have a dependant assembly named system.memory if this is missing; although the services are started - the 'Recalculate Compliance' button will remain greyed out.

• If the services have stopped, the services will need to be started.
• If the services are running, the services will need to be restarted.
• Both of these steps can be completed by right clicking on the service and choosing the option of 'start' or 'restart'
• If the services are started correctly; search the web.config for 'System.Memory'; if the is no evidence of this assembly identity. Please enter the following code below:

• Ensure that the matching system.memory.dll is present in the following directory. (Attached the System.Memory.dll) used in Snow License Manager 9.7.2 (as an example) for reference. NOTE: For other version please check the appropriate version.
• Default Directory of System.Memory.dll :  C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow License Manager\Web\bin
