Ocean reviews and finalizes cost data one day after usage occurs. For example, if today is August 20, Ocean finalizes the cost analysis for August 19 on August 21. Until that finalization occurs, the dashboard displays estimated values that may be higher than expected.

Before Ocean compares your usage against reserved instances or savings plans, it first uses on‑demand pricing. This can make the estimated cost for yesterday appear higher than other days.
