Discussion

InstallShield's prerequisite does not support adding folders, so if the redistributable is uncompressed with subfolders, there is no native way to include it in an Installshield prerequisite. Instead, you can wrap the prerequisite files in a Suite/Advanced UI install or an InstallScript wrapper install and then include that in the prerequisite. It is also possible to forgo the prerequisite entirely and simply use the Suite to deliver the prerequisite and the main install.
