FlexNet Code Insight Error on JenkinsCI plugin submit

Summary

This article documents a known bug with the Jenkins plugin which causes a HTTP Status 500 - java.lang.NullPointerException exception. This bug can be tracked through reference SCA-4697

Symptoms

When testing the Jenkins plugin for FlexNet Code Insight 6.12.0 I get this error:

Resolution

Unfortunately the HTTP Status 500 error when processing requests through Jenkins is a known bug. Our Engineers have been working to correct this issue and a permanent resolution has been added to the FlexNet Code Insight 6.12.1 release now available via our Product and License Center. This issue was caused by the fact that the API calls from Jenkins were passed with incorrect header details relating to the JWT authentication token. To resolve this issue you will need to upgrade to FlexNet Code Insight 6.12.1. This bug can be tracked through reference SCA-4697.
