Starting with AdminStudio version 2022 R2, the AdminStudio SQL drivers were updated to use OLEDB. After this change, SQL servers with the Force Encryption setting set to Yes may have issues connecting via AdminStudio.
Solution
If policy permits, set Force Encryption to No on the SQL Server. This can be done via the SQL Server Configuration Manager.
