To work around a JVM related issue it may be necessary to use a JVM other than the one bundled with the install. This article discusses the necessary steps to override the bundled JVM.

Discussion

In InstallAnywhere, the bundled JVM can be overridden by passing LAX_VM <java executable> to the installer launcher. For instance:

install.exe LAX_VM <path to java>/java.exe

Note: The Java executable which is specified must still match the "Installer Valid VM List" listed under Project->Config
