This article documents bug reference SCA-9765 which aims to investigate why the detection of licenses is not accurate when scanning the Hibernate-3.1.3.jar file using the Standard scan profile.Symptoms
Scanning hibernate-3.1.3.jar with the Standard Scan Profile. Inventory shows it is covered by the LGPL 2.1 license but the License Evidence Summary is showing 'Apache License 2.0' for FlexNet Code Insight.Resolution
The Hibernate-3.1.3.jar file should have the option of either the Apache License 2.0 or LGPL 2.1 licenses and both of these should be reported in the Analysis Workbench. A bug for this issue has been reported in SCA-9765 which aims to investigate why the detection of licenses is not accurate when scanning the jar file.Was this helpful?
