Summary

Information about error "Not a valid license server system host. Exiting."

Symptoms

When starting up a license server using this command: $ lmgrd -z -c /h/.FlexeraFlexera.lic the following error occurs in the deb ug log file:

Cause

This is caused by using the Cygwin-style path to the license file.

Resolution

This works : lmgrd -z -c H:/ Flexera Flexera.lic

This fails : lmgrd -z -c /h/Flexera Flexera.lic
