Received mail regarding request creation but request is not visible in FlexNet Code Insight

Summary

This article documents enhancement request SCA-8894 which aims to change the data type of the pas_request_attr_aud.value_ field from TEXT to MEDIUMTEXT to increase the storage capacity

Symptoms

After creating a request we received the confirmation mail regarding request but its not visible in FlexNet Code Insight.
There no entry for the requestID in the database. The following information is displayed in the logs for requestID 7098:

Resolution

This issue is caused by a data type constraint on the pas_request_attr_aud.value_ field. The current data type of TEXT only accepts values up to 16KB in size. An enhancement request has been raised under reference SCA-8894 to change the data type to MEDIUMTEXT which accepts values up to 16MB
