Environment

The issue occurs when all the following conditions exist:

• You are migrating FlexNet Code Insight to version 6.13.1 or later.
• The Code Insight database is SQL Server on Windows.
• You have switched from the Oracle JDK to Azul Zulu OpenJDK.

Symptoms

During the migration process, a script error similar to the following is generated:

Caused by: javax.xml.datatype.DatatypeConfigurationException: Provider for classjavax.xml.datatype.DataTypeFactory cannot be found

Diagnosis

The JDBC driver (jdbc*.jar) used in the current release needs to be updated to support OpenJDK.

Solution

Based on the version of Azul Zulu OpenJDK being used, download the appropriate JDBC driver (mssql-jdbc*.jar). Refer to the following site for drivers:
