Problem
When attempting to create a new user, the system displays the error “User already exists.” However, searching for the user does not return any results.
Solution
The logged-in user who tried to add the new user belongs to a sub-account of MyOrg. The user they were trying to add already existed in the Parent Organization. Users in a sub-account cannot view users from the parent organization as per the organizational hierarchy.
