Steps to Assign Analytics Explorer Role

Option 1: Update an Existing Role

1. Log in to Flexera One.
2. Go to the IT Asset Accounts page (Administration -> IT Asset Management Settings -> IT Asset Accounts)
3. Navigate to the Roles tab.
4. Select Edit Role  of the role you want to update (for example, IT Asset Manager).
5. Under the section Business Reporting Portal, locate Privileges.
6. Select the Analytics Explorer.
7. Save changes.

Option 2: Create a New Role

1. Go to IT Asset Accounts page (Administration -> IT Asset Management Settings -> IT Asset Accounts)
2. Navigate to the Roles tab.
3. Select Create Role.
4. Enter a role name, such as “Analytics Explorer”. 
5. Under the section Business Reporting Portal, locate Privileges and enable:
   • Analytics Explorer
6. Assign the role to the appropriate users:
   1. On the same page, navigate to All Accounts tab.
   2. Search for the user and open their account details
   3. Under Permissions, add the new role
7. Save changes.
