Invalid License Assignments report does not identify which user is invalid, for what reason

Snow License Manager (SLM) 9.30 does not provide detailed information on which users are invalid using the Invalid License Assignment report. This is scheduled to be corrected in a future version of SLM, which will also provide guidance around why the user is invalid.

As a workaround, the SQL table tblInvalidLicensesPerConsumer contains the reasons for the invalid assignments. Querying the table shows the reasons assigned an ID along with the explanations/descriptions. Here are some of the more common ones listed:

8	Inactive Computer
128	No eligible application installed
512	Missing installation for User
768	Missing installation for User, Missing Primary User
2048	Overassignment
2176	No eligible application installed, Overassignment
4096	Invalid quantity
4224	No eligible application installed,Invalid quantity
8192	No usage within metering period
8448	Missing primary user, no usage within metering period
