Oracle Verified data is listed as incomplete for the following reason(s):
- At least one Java installation was not successfully inventoried
Explanation
In JavaInstallationService method SijsMetadata the status.json file shows at least one Java installation with a status other than OK. When the status for any of the Java installations appears as Not OK (NOK) rather than OK, this indicates that scan failed for one or more Java installations.
Below is an example of a successfull status.json file from the Java scanner. There will be instances for each discovery of javaHome on the computer:
Troubleshooting
To troubleshoot this issue perform the following:- First verify that the latest version of the Snow Agent and scanner have been deployed on this computer. If not, run the upgrades and if the issue persists, continue troubleshooting.
- Next, confirm that the prequisites have been met and all installation instructions followed.
- Review the java scanner log file on the computer (or in the snowpack) for errors, see below for java scan log locations.
- If you have not remedied the issue, please open a new case with Snow Support , providing the following information and observations you've collected during this troubleshooting:
- All relevant software versions (snowagent, sios, siohws, java, oracle db version and edition if known.)
- A snowpack with agent logging set to verbose.
