Scheduled Software Recognition Service (SRS) updates do not run as expected but manual execution completes successfully.
It was determined that the SRS update did not execute as expected because the Data Update Job (DUJ) was running during the scheduled execution time for the SRS update. The DUJ was scheduled to run at 7 pm and the SRS auto update was schedule to run at 8 pm. As the DUJ has not yet completed the SRS did not run.
The update service logs show:

2023-08-10 20:45:08,869 [129] INFO SnowSoftware.Update.UpdateSchedule [(null)] - Delaying SnowSoftwareRecognitionService for 15 minute
To resolve, the SRS update schedule time was modified to 6 pm, an hour before the scheduled time for the DUJ. Making this change allowed it to complete before the DUJ runs.
DUJ was running during the scheduled time of SRS auto update.
