Summary
This article explains how to detect if a property has been set to any value or not in a condition for Suite/Advanced UI projects.Synopsis
When building a conditional statement for an exit, detection, eligibility, feature, action, or wizard interface condition in a Suite/Advanced UI project, you can create a Property Comparison condition. The Property Comparison setting shows the condition that is configured for checking the value of a particular built-in Suite/Advanced UI property, or a property that is defined in the Property Manager view. This article explains how to detect if a property has been set or not to any value in a condition for Suite/Advanced UI projects.Discussion
To determine whether a property has been set to any value, follow the steps below:- Go to the Property Manager
- Create a new property, in this example we will call it BLANKPROP
- Make sure the property is set to a blank value
- Go to the Property Comparison condition
- Set the "Compare To" setting to the name of the new property in square brackets, e.g. [BLANKPROP]
