To transfer InstallAnywhere to another system, you will need to uninstall it from the current system and then install it on the new system. As long as the same developer is using the installation, you are not required to perform a license transfer.Please Note: Each license will allow a single user to build registered versions of InstallAnywhere using the registered user's login. For example, if the registered developer Joe Smith moves InstallAnywhere from a Windows 2000 system under the login 'Admin' to a Windows XP system under the login 'buildmaster', you will need to register the 'buildmaster' installation using Joe Smith's serial number after you have removed InstallAnywhere from the old installation. If Joe Smith logs into the new system using 'Admin', InstallAnywhere will not build registered installers because the serial number is only viable in this case under the 'buildmaster' login.
If you are changing the actual developer using InstallAnywhere, you would be required to perform a license transfer as normal.
