Summary

On the End-User Portal, the producer Name acts as the top-level category for the files the users can download. Users who are entitled to products of more than one producer see a list of producers when they look for downloads.

For example, users who click Downloads > List All in the End-User Portal must first choose from a list of producers Names and then from a list of product lines and then product versions to show a list of download packages.So, in normal situations, the producer serves only as a method of grouping products, download packages, and files for display on the End-User Portal.

Therefore, the producer name change will no longer see the old name and will see a different name as what the producer is renamed to. The product downloads will not be affected by this change.

As long as we cannot change the Producer ID, It is the name that will be displayed in the UI. It will also automatically apply to all existing download packages using that Producer.
