Summary

Extra blank lines are rendered in the InstallationLanguage combo box in InstallShield 2014.

Symptoms

In InstallShield 2014, the InstallationLanguage wizard page in a Suite project renders extra white spaces at the bottom of the combo box. Subsequent selections of the combo box render correctly.

Cause

This was an issue that was introduced in InstallShield 2014.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Create a new Suite Project
2. Select General Information, add multiple languages under "Setup Languages" - in this example Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish is selected
3. Under Features, add a new Feature
4. Under Packages, add an MSI package
5. Go to the Releases and add a new release
6. Under "UI Languages" select all the included languages
7. Set Languages Dialog to "Yes"
8. Build and run the installation
9. Select the combo box, there are blank lines rendered at the bottom
10. Select away and select the combo box again, the control is rendered correctly

Resolution

This issue no longer occurs in InstallShield 2015. Migrate the project up to address this behavior.
