Introduction:  Unable to perform Online Activation even after having an internet connection on the machine as the Activation wizard defaults to Offline Activation page after providing the Activation code and clicking on the Next button.


Solution: The Registry key"OfflineTransactionPending" needs to be changed from 1 to 0, which will resolve the issue.
Please perform the below steps to change the above key value.

1. Open Registry(Regedit) as an Admin user.
2. Navigate to the path Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\InstallShield\AdminStudio
3. Double-click on the " OfflineTransactionPending " key and change the value to 0 or delete the key as shown in the  below image:

4. Navigate to the C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet folder and delete all the content inside the folder.
5. Now launch AdminStudio and you should be able to activate AdminStudio using Online Activation.
