This article addresses common questions about session timeout behavior in Flexera One, particularly when using SSO (SAML) authentication.
- What happens when a session times out?
When a session times out due to inactivity, the user is logged out and redirected to the Flexera One login page.
-
- If SSO (SAML) is configured with a Logout Redirect URL, the user will be sent to that URL instead.
-
- For more details, see External Identity Provider Configuration.
- How long before an inactive session times out?
Flexera One UI sessions time out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
-
- For details, refer to the Security FAQ.
- If SSO is enforced, can Flexera One issue a new token when a session expires?
-
- If the session is still active, the authentication token is automatically extended.
- If the session has already expired, the user is redirected to the login page or the configured Logout Redirect URL for re-authentication.
For additional administrative details, see Getting Started with Flexera Administration.
