• The processing of the inventoried data (hostdetails file) is not successfully executed according to the expectation.

Explanation

In OracleOvsService method ProcessOvsHostData failed in the Virtualization service when processing the vSphere data. The Snow License Manager Virtualization Service runs on the Snow License Manager (SLM) application server and gathers the vSphere virtualization topology data. 

The error indicates that the service was able to bring over the host computer data but it could not be processed.
 

Troubleshooting

1. First verify that the latest version of the Snow Agent and scanner have been deployed on this computer. If not, run the upgrades and if the issue persists, continue troubleshooting. 
2. Verify that the Snow Integration Manager (SIM) connectors are running correctly. 
3. If you have not remedied the issue, please open a new case with Snow Support, providing the following information and observations you've collected during this troubleshooting:
   • A screenshot of the information tab for the computer to show the value displayed for Host Computer Name

• All relevant software versions (Snow License Manager, Snow Inventory, SIM)
• The latest OMO, OVS and Virtualization logs with logging set to verbose:
