InstallShield 2018 Service Pack 1 exhibits unexpected views. For example on the Organization, Application Data, System Configuration view the information being displayed appears corrupted.Steps To Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:1. Open or Create a project
2. Click on any of the following views: Organization, Application Data, System Configuration, Server Configuration, User Interface, Media
3. Click on any other view
4. Click on the original view
Resolution
Apply IOJ-1875922 hotfix. This is applicable only for InstallShield 2018 SP1 version 24.0.463.Version information can be verified in the ?Programs and Features? in the control panel or from the ?Apps & features? in the Windows 10 settings.
1. Make sure InstallShield 2018 SP1 is not running.
2. Go to the directory where you installed InstallShield 2018 SP1(%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\InstallShield\2018\System) and backup the following files:
%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\InstallShield\2018\System\IsWsISWIGeneralInfo.ocx to %PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\InstallShield\2018\System\IsWsISWIGeneralInfo_org.ocx
3. Copy the new files part of this hotfix to the InstallShield 2018 SP1(%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\InstallShield\2018\System) folder:
%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\InstallShield\2018\System\IsWsISWIGeneralInfo.ocx
Note: this hotfix is included in version 24.0.464 and the hotfix is unnecessary for that version (24.0.464).
