How should I handle licensing on a Clone derived from a system with Standalond Build installed?
We've cloned a machine that has 2023 Standalone Build installed and licensed. My plan was to log on to the new machine and release the license, but that will also release the license on the source machine too correct? Should I just log onto both, return the license, then just reissue on the original machine?
Or, maybe we should or should have (not sure if the clone has been done at the moment) returned the license first, before cloning.
Any help appreciated?
Hi @Superfreak3 please try returning the license first. Once that’s done, clone the system and then reactivate it.
