fierydavid asked a question.
Problem:
Trying to download files for FlexNet Publisher on Macand getting blocked by "install Download Manager" even though I've already installed it
System versions:
- Mac 10.15.2 (Sequoia)
- Chrome 141.0.7390.122
Steps to reproduce
- Go to https://flexerasoftware.flexnetoperations.com/control/inst/download?element=7664971
- Selected files to download (select all)
- Click "Download Selected Files"
- Got a popup telling me to install a download manager and restart browser
- Installed download manager and restarted Chrome
- Repeated Steps 1-3; still getting "No download manager" popup
My thoughts
- The popup does say it only supports Mac 10.12 - 10.14. I'm assuming that is just bad documentation since 10.15 has been out for over a year; we're on 10.26 now. But if this is the problem, it's not like I'm going to downgrade my mac to download this.
- I've tried multiple different download pages with the same results.
Note. I have also tried downloading this using Safari. Same problem.
Hi @fierydavid , can you please download the kits individually and let me know if you still face an issue?
Yes I can click the File Name link to download them individually - but as soon as I check 2 and click Download Items, the download manager popup shows and I'm blocked.
If there were a couple on the page it wouldn't be a big deal, but there are 28 downloads on the page, so getting the select all then download would be nice since it's shown as an option.
